PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING, REGISTERING WITH, PURCHASING FROM, OR USING AUTOHUMP.
This website, including autohump.com, its related domains, applications, pages, tools, communications, subscriptions, vehicle profiles, listings, Vehicle Pedigree services, community features, and associated services (collectively, the “Platform” or “AutoHUMP”) is owned and operated by HUMP Holdings (“HUMP”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, publishing content, purchasing or renewing a package, or selecting an upgrade or downgrade, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any package-specific terms displayed at the point of purchase. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms constitute an electronic contract between you and HUMP Holdings. Your electronic acceptance, account action, payment, or continued use of the Platform may be treated as evidence of your agreement to these Terms, subject to applicable law.
For these Terms:
AutoHUMP is a digital automotive information, listing, discovery, interaction, and record-support platform. It enables Users to create Vehicle Profiles, publish Adverts, search for vehicles, communicate, maintain records, and access related services.
Unless expressly stated in writing for a specific service, HUMP Holdings is not a vehicle dealer, broker, auctioneer, agent, owner, repairer, insurer, lender, guarantor, or party to a transaction between Users. AutoHUMP does not take ownership of listed vehicles and does not control the final sale, payment, delivery, inspection, registration, financing, insurance, or transfer of ownership.
Any tools, rankings, quality scores, trends, badges, history records, finance widgets, estimates, exchange-rate displays, comparisons, forecasts, or recommendations are informational support only and must not be treated as professional, financial, legal, mechanical, valuation, or investment advice.
The Platform may be browsed for informational purposes by persons of different ages, subject to applicable law.
Only a person who is at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement may:
If you act for a business, dealership, institution, or other person, you represent that you have authority to bind that party. HUMP Holdings may request reasonable evidence of identity, authority, location, or business status.
You must provide accurate, complete, current, and truthful information and keep it reasonably updated.
You must not:
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity conducted through your Account, except to the extent caused by HUMP Holdings in breach of applicable law. You must notify us promptly if you reasonably suspect unauthorized use.
Each Dealer Account and Dealer Package represents one physical dealership or seller location. All Adverts published through that Account will be associated with the location recorded in the User profile.
Once the Account location has been registered or approved, the User will not be permitted to edit, replace, relocate, or otherwise modify that location directly through the Account or platform.
Where a genuine location change is required, the User must submit a support ticket and provide the supporting documents, explanations, and verification evidence requested by AutoHUMP. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.
Any approved location change will be completed manually by the AutoHUMP Customer Service team after the supporting information has been reviewed and the request has been accepted. AutoHUMP may reject, defer, or request additional evidence for any location-change request.
A dealer operating additional physical branches must register a separate eligible Account and Package for each additional branch. A location-change request must not be used to transfer, rotate, share, or reuse an Account or Package between branches, businesses, dealers, or seller locations.
A User must not provide false, duplicate, temporary, rotating, or misleading location information to obtain increased visibility, avoid Package requirements, misrepresent the seller's presence, or circumvent platform controls.
AutoHUMP may correct, restrict, freeze, deactivate, or remove Accounts or Adverts involved in location abuse, and may retain records of submitted requests and supporting documents for verification, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
A Package may permit the User to maintain more Vehicle Profiles than Active Adverts. Unless a Package states otherwise, the Package Limit controls the number of Active Adverts, not necessarily the total number of Vehicle Profiles retained in the Account.
Creating a Vehicle Profile does not guarantee the right to publish or keep an Advert active. Publication remains subject to Package capacity, moderation, Account status, these Terms, technical availability, and applicable law.
Vehicle Profiles and related records may remain retained when an Advert is sold, expired, inactive, voided, frozen, transferred, or otherwise removed from public display, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, retention practices, legitimate operational needs, and legal obligations.
The User publishing an Advert is solely responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, legality, completeness, ownership rights, intellectual-property rights, and reliability of all submitted information and media.
This includes, without limitation:
HUMP Holdings does not routinely inspect, certify, authenticate, validate, or guarantee vehicles, sellers, histories, documents, prices, or claims. A failure by AutoHUMP to identify an inaccuracy does not constitute verification or approval.
Once an Advert is published, AutoHUMP may restrict direct editing of selected fields to protect record integrity, ranking quality, transparency, and historical consistency.
Fields permitted for direct Advert editing may include price, mileage, and selling text. Other vehicle details may need to be corrected through the associated Vehicle Profile and may be subject to additional controls.
AutoHUMP may display an “Edited” indicator, revision count, last-updated time, or other change information. Previous versions, records, or system logs may be retained for security, moderation, fraud prevention, analytics, dispute support, legal compliance, and record integrity.
A User must not change a published Advert in a manner that causes it to represent a materially different vehicle, misleads viewers, transfers accumulated engagement unfairly, or bypasses Package capacity.
Search position, trending placement, visibility, quality scores, ratings, reports, engagement, and other ranking outcomes may be generated from multiple factors, including public interaction, Advert quality, relevance, completeness, freshness, price context, location, User behaviour, moderation, and system rules.
Payment for a Package does not guarantee a particular search position, number of views, inquiry, offer, sale, ranking, trend placement, or commercial result.
A fair price, complete information, credible media, and positive public engagement may improve visibility, but no outcome is promised. AutoHUMP may change ranking methods to improve integrity, relevance, security, or User value.
AutoHUMP does not guarantee pre-publication verification of every Advert. Adverts, Accounts, reviews, comments, events, or other content may be monitored following reports, automated risk signals, operational checks, or suspected violations.
HUMP Holdings reserves the right, acting reasonably and subject to applicable law, to investigate and to warn, restrict, correct, freeze, deactivate, reject, remove, suspend, or terminate content or Accounts where we believe there is fraud, abuse, illegality, risk, policy violation, misleading content, security concern, repeated public reporting, or harm to the Platform or its Users.
Reporting does not guarantee removal, and the absence of removal does not amount to validation. We may preserve records relevant to an investigation or legal request.
All negotiations and transactions occur directly between the relevant Users.
Before making a payment, commitment, or purchase, Users should independently verify matters including:
Users should use qualified professionals and official authorities where appropriate. Never rely solely on an Advert, profile, badge, score, review, message, displayed document, or Vehicle Pedigree entry.
This Section and all related subscription Sections form the contract governing Free and paid Packages. By selecting, activating, purchasing, renewing, upgrading, or downgrading a Package, you agree to the Package name, price, currency, duration, active Advert limit, eligibility conditions, and benefits shown at the time of the transaction.
The purchase confirmation, invoice, Account record, Package summary, displayed expiry date, and these Terms collectively evidence the subscription agreement. If a package-specific condition expressly conflicts with a general provision in these Terms, the package-specific condition displayed and accepted at purchase will apply to that Package to the extent of the conflict, subject to applicable law.
AutoHUMP may provide:
Package names, prices, limits, benefits, eligibility, and availability may vary by country, Account type, promotion, effective date, or business category. A Package may not be transferred between Accounts unless expressly authorized by AutoHUMP.
The Free Package is not a guaranteed permanent commercial dealer entitlement. AutoHUMP may require a User operating as a dealer or commercial seller to use an eligible Dealer Package.
A paid Subscription Term begins when payment is successfully confirmed and the Package is activated, or on another start date expressly displayed and accepted by the User.
Each Subscription Term is fixed and ends at the exact expiry date and time shown in the Account or transaction record. A Package described by a number of days will expire after that number of days. A calendar-based Package may expire on the corresponding calendar date and time. The system-displayed activation and expiry records will govern unless there is a demonstrated system or payment error.
The User is responsible for reviewing the Package duration and expiry date before confirming payment.
A Subscription Term cannot be paused, stopped, placed on hold, voluntarily suspended, or preserved for later use at Package level.
Once activated, the Subscription Term continues continuously until its recorded expiry date and time, whether or not the User logs in, publishes the full permitted number of Adverts, temporarily stops trading, removes Adverts, sells vehicles, experiences reduced demand, or otherwise does not use all Package benefits.
Deactivating individual Adverts, closing the business temporarily, requesting Account restriction, or selecting a future downgrade does not pause or extend the current Subscription Term. Any extension must be expressly granted by AutoHUMP in writing or through an authorized system process.
Each Package has a maximum number of Active Adverts. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the limit applies to the total number of Adverts carrying Active status at the same time.
A User may maintain additional Vehicle Profiles or non-active Adverts, but cannot activate more Adverts than the current Package permits. Sold, inactive, void, draft, expired, rejected, removed, or Frozen Adverts do not create an entitlement beyond the Package rules.
Where capacity becomes available, an eligible non-active or Frozen Advert may be reactivated, subject to the current Package, Advert validity, Account status, moderation, and system rules.
A renewal begins a new Subscription Term under the Package, price, duration, limits, and conditions presented and accepted at renewal. Unless AutoHUMP expressly offers and the User authorizes automatic renewal, subscriptions do not renew automatically.
Renewal should be completed before expiry to avoid interruption. AutoHUMP does not guarantee a grace period. Renewal after expiry may restore eligible services but does not guarantee restoration of prior ranking, visibility, engagement, promotion, or position.
A User may upgrade only to a Package made available to that Account. The applicable upgrade price, credit, benefit period, activation time, and new expiry date will be displayed or calculated by the Platform before confirmation.
Where AutoHUMP provides credit for unused value in the current paid Package, the credit will be calculated using the approved system method. AutoHUMP may convert approved credit into additional subscription time rather than a cash payment. Any stated upgrade benefit days, including an additional benefit-of-doubt day, will be shown or recorded separately where applicable.
An upgrade normally takes effect after successful payment and activation. The upgraded Package Limit will then apply. No cash refund is created merely because an upgrade calculation includes a credit or time adjustment.
A User may select an available lower Package, subject to eligibility and system rules. Unless AutoHUMP expressly confirms an immediate conversion, a downgrade is scheduled to take effect only when the current paid Subscription Term expires.
Selecting a downgrade does not stop, pause, shorten, refund, or otherwise alter the current Package. The current Package and its existing limit continue until the recorded expiry date and time.
On the effective downgrade date, the lower Package Limit will apply automatically. Where the number of eligible Active Adverts exceeds the new limit, AutoHUMP will retain as Active the most recently published or most recently activated eligible Adverts, up to the new Package Limit. The remaining excess Adverts will be assigned status F — Frozen.
The system timestamp or other recorded activation order will determine which Adverts are treated as the latest. AutoHUMP may apply tie-breaking rules where timestamps are identical, incomplete, disputed, or affected by a technical correction.
A Frozen Advert is retained in the Account but is removed from active public circulation. It may not receive the same visibility, inquiries, offers, ranking, engagement, or other Active Advert functions. Free capacity must exist before a Frozen Advert can be reactivated.
A Dealer Account may request or select a downgrade to the Free Package where that option is available. Unless expressly confirmed otherwise, the conversion takes effect at the expiry of the current paid Subscription Term.
Until that expiry date and time, the existing Dealer Package continues without pause and the User may retain its current Package benefits, subject to these Terms.
At expiry, the Account will convert from Dealer status to eligible Individual status. Dealer-only benefits may end, including the dealer page, dealer badges, dealer-specific QR functions, commercial presentation, enhanced listing capacity, or other Package features.
The Free Package limit will then apply. The latest eligible Adverts, determined under Section 19, will remain Active up to the Free Package limit. All excess Active Adverts will move to F — Frozen status. Frozen Adverts and Vehicle Profiles are not automatically deleted merely because of the downgrade.
Conversion to Individual status does not permit a commercial dealer to evade Dealer Package requirements. AutoHUMP may require an Account that continues commercial dealership activity to subscribe to an eligible Dealer Package or may restrict the Account.
An Advert may be assigned Frozen status where:
Frozen status is not a deletion and does not transfer ownership of the content to AutoHUMP. However, a Frozen Advert is not guaranteed public availability, ranking, continued engagement, or indefinite retention.
When capacity is restored, the User may select an eligible Frozen Advert for reactivation where the Platform permits. Reactivation may use a new activation timestamp and may affect which Adverts remain Active under any later capacity reduction.
If a paid Package expires without renewal or an approved downgrade, AutoHUMP may convert the Account to an eligible Free or restricted status, freeze Active Adverts, disable dealer-only functions, or require the User to select a Package before continuing commercial use.
Expiry does not cancel unpaid obligations, reverse completed charges, delete retained records, or entitle the User to a refund for unused capacity or time.
AutoHUMP may introduce, discontinue, rename, or modify Packages, limits, features, eligibility, or prices for future purchases and renewals. A change will not ordinarily reduce the fixed duration or core Active Advert limit already purchased for a current paid Subscription Term, unless required by law, security, fraud prevention, technical necessity, or an event outside reasonable control.
Promotional, founding, trial, discount, or lifetime-price benefits apply only according to their stated conditions. A “lifetime” benefit refers to the duration of the eligible program, Account, service, business, or Package availability under its stated conditions; it does not guarantee that the Platform or any particular Package will operate forever.
AutoHUMP subscription prices may be defined in EUR. A local-currency amount may be displayed or charged using an applicable exchange rate supplied by AutoHUMP, a payment gateway, bank, card scheme, or other payment provider.
Exchange rates can change. A displayed estimate may differ from the final amount charged because of processing time, provider conversion rules, bank margins, foreign-exchange fees, taxes, or card charges. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the payment provider’s final processed amount governs the transaction.
Users are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, bank fees, conversion charges, and payment-provider costs. AutoHUMP may issue invoices or receipts electronically.
A Package is activated only after successful payment confirmation or another expressly authorized arrangement. AutoHUMP may delay activation while payment, identity, risk, or transaction details are reviewed.
If a payment fails, is reversed, charged back, disputed, cancelled, obtained fraudulently, or remains unpaid, AutoHUMP may withhold activation, freeze Adverts, restrict the Account, recover amounts due, and retain relevant records. A good-faith statutory or contractual payment dispute will be handled subject to applicable law.
The User must not initiate a chargeback as a substitute for contacting AutoHUMP about a genuine billing error. This does not remove any lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect charge.
Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in writing, paid Packages, renewals, upgrades, promotions, and add-ons are non-refundable after activation.
No refund is ordinarily provided for:
Where AutoHUMP approves a subscription credit, downgrade adjustment, or other account correction, the credit may be applied as additional subscription time, Package value, or another non-cash benefit. No cash reimbursement is created unless expressly approved or required by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a refund, remedy, or right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
Trials and promotions may have separate eligibility, duration, cut-off dates, capacity, verification, payment, conversion, and discount conditions. AutoHUMP may reject duplicate, fraudulent, transferred, resold, or abusive promotional claims.
On the expiry of a free trial or promotional period, affected Adverts may become Frozen or the Account may move to another eligible Package unless the User purchases or renews an applicable paid Package.
Founding Dealer badges, discounts, backgrounds, or benefits remain conditional on the applicable founding program rules, Account good standing, continued eligibility, and the continued availability of the relevant service.
Vehicle Pedigree is a separate vehicle-history and record-support product. Unless expressly included in a Package, purchasing a Dealer Package does not automatically purchase a Vehicle Pedigree subscription for every vehicle.
A Vehicle Pedigree may follow the associated vehicle when ownership changes, subject to verification, transfer procedures, privacy controls, Package duration, and Platform rules. It is not intended to be deleted and recreated simply to remove unfavourable history.
Vehicle Pedigree entries may be submitted by owners, dealers, service providers, or other participants. AutoHUMP does not guarantee that every event is complete, genuine, independently verified, or free from error. A Pedigree must not replace an official vehicle search, inspection, service record, title check, finance check, or professional assessment.
AutoHUMP may limit event frequency, file size, attachment count, media type, storage, visibility, and editing. Hidden, disputed, corrected, reported, or transferred events may remain recorded for integrity and legal purposes.
Offers, watchlists, comparisons, saved searches, alerts, messages, and similar tools are convenience features. They do not create a binding sale, reservation, acceptance, valuation, or obligation unless the relevant Users independently enter into a legally binding agreement.
Notifications may be delayed, filtered, blocked, misdirected, or unavailable. Users remain responsible for their own decisions and communications.
Users may post reviews, comments, replies, ratings, likes, dislikes, forum contributions, and reports where those functions are available. Community content reflects the author’s views and not necessarily those of HUMP Holdings.
Users must not publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, fraudulent, misleading, invasive of privacy, commercially deceptive, infringing, malicious, or unrelated spam.
Service providers may contribute useful knowledge to discussions, but participation does not constitute AutoHUMP endorsement. Any commercial relationship arising from a discussion remains between the relevant parties.
You retain ownership of content you lawfully own. By submitting content, you grant HUMP Holdings a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt, translate, display, distribute, index, moderate, analyse, and use that content to operate, secure, improve, promote, and provide the Platform and related services.
This licence continues for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, maintain records, honour lawful sublicences, preserve backups, support analytics, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with law. It does not authorize HUMP Holdings to claim ownership of your original content.
AutoHUMP, HUMP Holdings, associated names, logos, designs, software, databases, interfaces, compilations, branding, and original Platform content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except as permitted by law or written authorization, Users must not copy, reproduce, scrape, reverse engineer, republish, sell, license, frame, or commercially exploit the Platform or its protected content.
Users must not:
The Platform may use or link to payment gateways, map providers, video platforms, analytics services, messaging providers, banks, insurers, financial institutions, service partners, advertisers, or other third parties.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and charges. HUMP Holdings is not responsible for third-party content, decisions, calculations, security, performance, approvals, rejections, or transactions, except to the extent required by applicable law.
AutoHUMP is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make reasonable efforts to maintain the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted, continuous, secure, error-free, or country-wide availability.
The Platform may be interrupted by maintenance, upgrades, faults, capacity limits, cyber incidents, power or network failures, third-party outages, legal restrictions, natural events, or other circumstances.
Temporary downtime does not pause a Subscription Term or automatically create a refund or credit. Where a material interruption is directly caused by AutoHUMP and a remedy is appropriate or legally required, AutoHUMP may provide a proportionate credit, extension, or other remedy.
HUMP Holdings implements reasonable administrative and technical measures, but no online system is completely secure. Users accept the inherent risks of internet-based services and must use appropriate device, password, email, and account security.
AutoHUMP may investigate suspected misuse, preserve logs, restrict access, require verification, reset sessions, or take other reasonable protective measures.
The collection, use, disclosure, retention, transfer, and protection of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that information may be processed for account management, publication, communication, subscription administration, payment support, location and search functions, security, fraud prevention, moderation, analytics, legal compliance, and service improvement as described in the Privacy Policy.
AutoHUMP may retain Vehicle Profiles, Adverts, revisions, reports, transactions, subscription records, messages, events, system logs, and related information for operational, evidential, analytics, integrity, security, fraud prevention, dispute-resolution, accounting, and legal purposes.
Public deletion, Account closure, Advert removal, sale, expiry, or Frozen status does not necessarily result in immediate deletion from active systems, archives, backups, audit records, or legally retained datasets.
Records may be disclosed where required or permitted by law, including in response to a valid court order, regulatory request, law-enforcement process, legal claim, or necessary protection of rights and safety.
HUMP Holdings may suspend, restrict, freeze, deactivate, or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, non-payment, legal compliance, repeated reports, abuse, risk, or breach of these Terms.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct a breach. Immediate action may be taken where delay could create harm, fraud, illegality, data risk, system risk, or exposure to HUMP Holdings or other Users.
Suspension or termination caused by the User’s breach does not automatically pause a Package, extend its expiry, or create a refund. Rights and obligations intended to survive termination will continue.
A User may request Account closure, subject to identity verification, unresolved payments, active disputes, Vehicle Pedigree transfer requirements, retention obligations, and other legitimate operational or legal needs.
Closing an Account does not pause or refund an active Package, erase completed transactions, remove obligations, or require deletion of information that AutoHUMP is entitled or required to retain.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HUMP Holdings disclaims all express and implied warranties concerning the Platform, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, security, title, quality, or successful commercial outcome.
We do not warrant that any User, vehicle, Advert, record, document, payment instruction, review, score, history, price, finance offer, insurance offer, service provider, or third-party content is genuine, complete, accurate, safe, lawful, or suitable.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HUMP Holdings and its owners, officers, personnel, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, reputation, data, use, or anticipated savings arising from or connected with the Platform.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it will be limited to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless HUMP Holdings and its affiliates, officers, personnel, and contractors from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, penalties, and reasonable costs arising from your content, transaction, unlawful conduct, infringement, misuse of the Platform, or material breach of these Terms.
HUMP Holdings may update these Terms to reflect legal, operational, security, technical, commercial, or service changes. The updated version and effective date will be published on the Platform.
Where a material change affects an existing paid Subscription Term, we will apply the change prospectively where reasonably practicable, unless earlier application is required by law, security, fraud prevention, or urgent operational necessity.
Continued use after the effective date of an updated version constitutes acceptance, subject to any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, without prejudice to any mandatory law that applies to a User and cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to any mandatory consumer or statutory jurisdiction, disputes arising from these Terms or the Platform will be submitted to the competent courts of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
AutoHUMP is operated and managed by HUMP Holdings from the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. References to Users, vehicles, currencies, listings, services, or countries elsewhere do not by themselves establish a physical office, branch, representative, agency, or permanent operational presence in that location.
These Terms are drafted in English. Where a translation is provided, the English version will control in the event of inconsistency, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
A failure or delay by HUMP Holdings to enforce a right is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience only. These Terms do not create a partnership, employment, franchise, fiduciary, joint venture, or agency relationship between HUMP Holdings and a User.
HUMP Holdings may assign or transfer its rights and obligations as part of a restructuring, financing, sale, merger, or transfer of the Platform, subject to applicable law. A User may not assign a Package or these Terms without prior written authorization.
Questions, billing concerns, legal notices, and complaints should be submitted through the official contact method published on AutoHUMP. Users should provide sufficient Account and transaction details for the matter to be reviewed, but must not publicly post passwords, payment credentials, or unnecessary sensitive information.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a User from contacting a competent regulator, consumer authority, court, or other lawful dispute-resolution body where the User is entitled to do so.
